How this check works & your data

We ask three category-based questions on the web versions of ChatGPT and Gemini, once per platform. ChatGPT is asked to search the web; Gemini’s search behaviour is controlled by its interface. Your business name and website are used to match the answers, not added to the questions.

Mentions match your business name in answer text. Citations match your website or a subdomain in the returned sources. Common business names can produce ambiguous matches. Failed answers are excluded. This sample is not an overall ranking: answers can change with time, location, personalisation and wording.

Repeat checks for a website show its saved report. After 90 days, we flag the results as old; the results and share link remain available. A paid plan is required to run an updated report. Anyone with the link can view the results. GrowthScout retains checked business details, reports and tool usage for marketing analysis. If you request follow-up, we separately retain your email and consent to handle that request. Contact details are never included in shared reports or sent to the AI platforms. Please only enter public business information.
