TL;DR
AutoSEO AI's apparent main platform is AutoSEO at getautoseo.com. Its public materials describe AI-generated SEO articles, publishing integrations and a backlink exchange network. The WordPress plugin and Shopify listing are routes into that ecosystem, not proof that every agency control works the same way on every site. If you manage client websites, verify the approval gate, publishing permissions, link placements and applicable business terms before switching on automation.
A search for autoseo ai can lead to a company, an app listing, a plugin or a generic discussion of automatic SEO. That ambiguity matters when you are about to grant publishing access to a client's website. We looked at AutoSEO's own site and terms, its platform listings and Google's search guidance to separate documented capabilities from claims that still need a live demonstration. We have not tested an AutoSEO account, measured its customers' results or audited its backlink network.

Which AutoSEO AI platform are you looking for?
The product discussed here is AutoSEO at getautoseo.com. Its terms identify Automated SEO OÜ as the operator and describe AI content generation, search-term research, article publishing, WordPress integration and backlinks through a link exchange network. The GetAutoSEO AI Tool listing on WordPress.org explicitly says it connects to that platform. The AutoSEO Content Publisher listing on Shopify describes the same content-and-backlink proposition for merchants.
Do not confuse those destinations with every other result containing “auto SEO.” Similar product names and general articles about automated SEO may refer to entirely different services. For this product, start at the main site to assess the offer; use the WordPress or Shopify listing when your client needs that specific publishing route. The AutoSEO login page offers an emailed sign-in link for existing accounts, rather than serving as a product explainer.
What does AutoSEO say it does?
Content production. AutoSEO promotes researched, search-focused AI articles. Its Shopify app description says it writes and automatically publishes an article each day and advertises 30 keyword-researched articles per month. That is the vendor's stated output, not an independent assessment of research depth, article originality or the suitability of that cadence for a particular website. A client with two overlapping service guides may need a careful update, not another daily post. See the Shopify product description.
Publishing. The WordPress plugin description lists article syncing, scheduling, automatic publishing and a manual-review workflow, with settings for categories and authors. It also says an AutoSEO account and active subscription are required. The Shopify listing describes publishing to a store blog. These are documented integration routes, but neither listing proves that your required client sign-off, CMS field mapping or emergency stop procedure works in your account. Ask to see a draft travel from the platform to the exact website and author account you intend to use.
Backlinks and AI-search positioning. The vendor's terms describe building relevant links through a link exchange network. Its marketing also positions the service around visibility in Google and AI products such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. Those are descriptions of intended activity and positioning. They are not independently verified ranking gains, AI citations or qualified leads. The terms say the number, timing and location of link placements vary with network availability and editorial fit, and do not guarantee rankings or traffic. A headline claim about article quantity or “DA worth of backlinks” is not a substitute for seeing the pages and placements themselves. Review AutoSEO's stated service limits.
What would a review-first agency workflow look like?
We would treat AutoSEO as a system to demonstrate, not a complete agency process to assume. Imagine a client that sells specialist accounting software and already has a guide answering a related question. Before approving any proposed article, the agency checks whether the intent deserves a new page, whether existing coverage should be updated and whether the client can contribute actual product knowledge. The vendor's search-term research claim does not by itself answer those editorial questions.
Then ask the operator to show five connected handoffs for that client:
- Opportunity: Where did the suggested topic come from, and how can a strategist reject it if it overlaps an existing URL?
- Draft: Which claims can be traced to reliable sources, and where do client-specific facts, examples and tone enter the article?
- Approval: Who can edit and block publication? Does a missed deadline leave the item as a draft, or will a schedule release it anyway?
- Delivery: Which CMS user publishes, what URL and metadata result, and how can the agency pause, correct or remove an unwanted post?
- Measurement: Can the team relate the finished URL to query and page performance, then decide whether to keep, revise or retire it?

Backlinks need a separate approval path. Request the proposed referring page, its editorial context, target URL, anchor text, any reciprocal outgoing-link obligation and a way to decline or remove an unsuitable placement. Google's link-spam policy names excessive link exchanges and automated link creation among potential spam practices. That does not establish that any particular AutoSEO link breaks the rules; it makes the network's actual practices essential to verify before exposing a client's domain to them.
Google also advises manual fact-checking of AI-generated content and metadata. Its concern is not the mere use of AI. Generating many pages without adding user value may violate its scaled-content policy. We would approve an article because it answers a genuine question accurately, not because a monthly allowance makes it available.
Is AutoSEO AI suitable for several client websites?
Use the following questions in a single-client pilot before rolling the service out across an agency portfolio. These are evaluation criteria, not claims that AutoSEO already supplies each control.
| Agency requirement | Evidence to request in a demo |
|---|---|
| Client separation | Show separate domains, briefs, billing units, credentials and content histories without cross-client context leakage. |
| Editorial control | Reject a proposed topic and a generated draft; confirm neither is published later by a schedule or sync. |
| Fact-checking and brand voice | Trace two consequential claims to sources and change a client-specific instruction; inspect the revised live draft. |
| Publishing permissions | Show the exact CMS role, supported fields, draft status, failure alert and rollback path for each destination. |
| Backlink transparency | Inspect live referring pages and any reciprocal requirements; demonstrate a rejection and removal request. |
| Reporting and reversibility | Export the article and log its final URL; confirm what happens to content, links and integrations after cancellation. |
In particular, obtain the terms that apply to a business account. AutoSEO's publicly accessible terms say they apply to EU consumers and that different terms may apply to customers acting for a business. Those public terms also distinguish cancellation without a refund from a processed refund when describing continued use of delivered articles. Do not assume that language governs your agency's client contract; ask for written content-use, access and exit terms for your arrangement. Read the public terms.
An agency's final decision should depend on the weakest essential handoff. A smooth draft is little help if your client needs signed approval before publishing and you cannot demonstrate a reliable hold state. Conversely, an agency with a strong editor and a compatible blog may value a content-production service if the article quality, costs and link policy survive a small pilot.
AutoSEO AI versus a broader SEO workflow
AutoSEO's documented emphasis is frequent article production, CMS publishing and off-site links. An agency may instead need the connective work around those outputs: site inventory, prioritised research, a visible plan, editorial review, performance interpretation and decisions about existing pages. Neither scope is inherently better. Ask what the team is actually buying and which jobs remain with the account lead.

For context, GrowthScout is our own platform for agencies. It describes separate website context, research and a 30-day plan for each added client site, editable articles, and optional WordPress or webhook delivery. Its agency page says dedicated client approval access and shareable client reporting are ideas rather than available features; it does not claim to replace a link-building service. That distinction keeps this comparison honest: compare demonstrated research, planning, production, publishing, link work and AI-visibility checks as separate functions, rather than awarding either product credit for everything labelled “SEO automation.”
If AI mentions are part of the brief, agree on what would count as a mention, citation or recommendation, and record the prompt and check date. A single answer is not a universal ranking. Our AI search visibility explainer goes deeper on those distinctions.
Frequently asked questions
How much does AutoSEO AI cost per month?
The Shopify App Store listing displays a $149 per month Monthly Plan and a $990 per year Yearly Plan, each with a three-day trial, billed in USD. Those are prices displayed for that app listing, not a verified quote for a multi-client agency contract or every purchasing route. Ask the vendor for the applicable website count, billing term, currency, trial conditions and any link or publishing limits in writing before you buy.
Is AutoSEO AI free, and do I need the plugin?
A trial is not an ongoing free plan. The WordPress plugin listing says its publishing integration needs an active AutoSEO subscription. Install that plugin only if the WordPress route fits your client's access policy; Shopify has its own app listing. Confirm whether a different CMS needs another supported route rather than assuming the plugin works everywhere.
What do AutoSEO AI reviews or Reddit discussions prove?
They can supply useful questions, not a performance guarantee. Read recent feedback for evidence about draft quality, publishing control, support and link relevance, then check the date, platform, plan and length of use. Avoid treating an anonymous thread about automatic SEO generally as a review of getautoseo.com. We have not independently verified review authors' experiences or vendor traffic claims; a controlled client pilot is stronger evidence for your workflow.
Where do existing users log in?
Use AutoSEO's sign-in page, which says it sends a secure login link by email. If you need to evaluate the offer first, start with the main platform site rather than granting website access from a search-result snippet.
Our take
AutoSEO AI is worth investigating when an agency wants to test a recurring article-and-backlink service and can supervise what reaches each client site. Begin with one client, one proposed article and a clear decision about link-network participation. Get the business terms and applicable price before expanding; insist on a demonstrated approval stop and inspect the first published page yourself. Use Search Console's page and query reports to track relevant clicks and impressions over time, alongside the client's own enquiry or sales measures. Article count alone cannot tell you whether the work helped.
If your bottleneck is instead preserving client context from research through a reviewable content plan, explore our agency workflow and apply the same demonstration questions to it. We would rather you choose the process you can inspect and correct than a promise of autopilot.
